Table Starter Boost

Nexa pays 40% rakeback to the player who starts an empty cash table, for as long as that session lasts. It is a reward for creating action rather than for volume, and the rules about who counts as the starter decide whether you actually get paid.

Who counts as the starter

The starter is the first player to buy in to an empty cash table and play a hand. Only that player earns the boosted rakeback at that table.

If everyone else leaves and one player remains, that player becomes the starter when a second player sits and play resumes.

If all players leave, the session ends and the next two players to sit down create a new session with a new starter.

If two players sit down at the same moment, Nexa picks the starter at random.

Players left heads-up who were not first to sit do not qualify.

How the session and payout work

The session lasts as long as you keep playing at that table. Breaks of up to five minutes are tolerated; disconnecting and sitting back in follows the same rule. Rakeback is calculated on rake attribution only, so feature spend and insurance do not count, and the accumulated amount is paid every Monday at 2 PM CET for the previous week.

Our take

This favours players who are online at quiet hours and are willing to sit alone until someone joins. 40% is a strong rate for NLHE, but it only pays once a second player sits and hands are dealt, and PLO tables are excluded, so PLO players should look at the separate 30% PLO rakeback instead.
